HCP Report on Cape Town cited by The Guardian newspaper in an article entitled “Is South Africa’s Most Fertile Farmland Under Threat from Developers?”  The newspaper’s series on Cities discusses the struggle between developers and local farmers and NGOs over land use in the Philippi Horticultural Area which supplies the city’s poor with cheap vegetables.
