HCP publishes the report of the IPaSS close-out conference on “Localising the SDGS through an Urban Food Lens in the Global South“. The online conference was held on November 9-10, 2020. This conference offers global reflections on SDG localisation efforts, and proposes that FOOD offers a useful lens for approaching sustainability in a holistic manner (Day 1).

The article assesses the relationships between SDG 3 (Good Health and Wellbeing), SDG 2 (Zero Hunger) and SDG 1 (No Poverty) in Maputo, Mozambique. It found that households with chronically ill members have a slightly increased odds of experiencing poverty and food insecurity and tend to experience these challenges concurrently.
