BOOK

Food and nutrition security in Southern African cities

The thematic analyses presented in each chapter of this book have highlighted the high prevalence of food insecurity and the associated challenges experienced by poor households in Southern African cities. This chapter ties together these themes and considers how urban food security research will need to adapt to inform policy action on these future food security challenges, not only within the Southern African context, but more broadly in the towns and cities of the Global South.
