The QES-AS Projects Workshop was held in Toronto on May 22 and 23, 2019 at Ryerson University in Toronto. Professor Jonathan Crush and QE scholars with the HCP, including Drs. Mary Caesar, Robert Kinlocke and Zhenzhong Si, attended the workshop on May 22. The workshop was titled “Strengthening partnerships and collaboration across QES-AS projects“. The team shared with others the research, policy engagement and community outreach activities of the HCP. They also actively participated in the discussion and learned about the various research projects of other institutions. A report of the workshop summarizes the key points highlighted in the discussion around themes such as community engagement, capacity building, knowledge transfer and challenges facing the QES-AS projects.
